Frontières is internationally established as the leading industry initiative for genre film professionals. It is organized by the Fantasia International Film Festival, with the participation of the Marché du Film - Festival de Cannes.

The aim is to connect genre filmmakers with industry professionals and promote co-production and collaboration with Canada & Europe. Since 2017 Frontières has been producing 3 annual events: the Frontières International Co-Production Market (July, at the Fantasia International Film Festival in Montreal, for projects in development & early financing); the Frontières Finance & Packaging Forum (February, traveling event, for projects at the midway point in their financing); and the Frontières Platform at the Marché du Film - Festival de Cannes (May, for projects in advanced financing & post-production).

Why b.square?

2021 Frontières returns for the 14th edition of its co-production market (August 3-6) which will take place in a digital form.
We are glad to announce that our b.square solution has been chosen as the main B2B platform for scheduling the agendas for both Market Guests and Projects.
Attendees will update their profile, their availability for the days of the industry and check their Requests section to answer their incoming appointment requests. Any participants will register via the b.square login and will get ready for their 1:1 meetings online.
